"Some NATO nations, particularly Britain, griped that they couldn't perform enough watch flights on Turkey's Syrian outskirt as the engagement tenets were excessively strict," the authority told Reuters.
"After talks ... Turkey facilitated these engagement principles to align them with NATO arrangements," he said. NATO was told about the move around three weeks prior, the authority said, however coalition nations had not yet completed extra flights.
