There is no frantic scramble for Britain to trigger the procedure for it to leave the European Union, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Saturday, leaving London some space to work out its best course of action after a choice vote to leave the alliance.
"Honestly, it ought not take ages, that is valid, but rather I would not battle now for a brief span outline," Merkel told a news gathering at a meeting of her gathering outside Berlin.
