False bomb threat forces EgyptAir flight to make emergency landing in Uzbekistan: sources

An EgyptAir flight to China was compelled to make a crisis arrival in Uzbekistan on Wednesday after the aircraft got a call asserting that there was a bomb on load up, two Egyptian flying authorities said.

They said the plane, which was conveying 118 travelers, had been cleared and sought. No explosives were discovered, they said.

"The plane is planning to resume its trip. It was a lie, say thanks to God," said one of the authorities.

EgyptAir has gotten various bomb dangers since one of its airplane collided with the Mediterranean on May 19. All have ended up being tricks.
