WORLD, THAILAND Thailand's king continues treatment for 'water on the brain': palace

Thailand's 88-year-old King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world's longest supreme ruler, has hinted at change taking after treatment for "water on the cerebrum", the Royal Household Bureau said in an announcement on Sunday.

The lord has been dealt with for different infirmities amid a year-long hospitalization in the Thai capital. He was most recently seen out in the open in January, when he spent a few hours going by his Bangkok castle.

The ruler, who commended 70 years of his rule on June 9, is seen as a bringing together figure in a nation that has confronted many years of frequently dangerous political change. On a couple events he has ventured in when occasions undermined to dive the nation into emergency.

Apprehension over his wellbeing and the progression has framed the setting to over 10 years of political emergency in Thailand, where the military took power in an upset over two years prior.

The imperial royal residence said the restorative examination of the ruler indicated he had more "water on the cerebrum", or hydrocephalus, a development of the cerebrospinal liquid that encompasses the mind.

Liquid was depleted from the ruler on Saturday with "palatable results", the castle said in an announcement.

In a June 12 explanation, the castle said the lord had hinted at change taking after surgery for narrowing of the courses.

News about the illustrious family is firmly controlled in Thailand. Laws shielding the royals from affront make it a wrongdoing to malign, affront or undermine the lord, ruler, beneficiary to the throne or official.
