China says foreign NGO law a step to advance rule of law

Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi, the nation's top ambassador, said on Tuesday another law dealing with the operation of remote non-government associations in China is a stage to propel the tenet of law.

He was talking toward the end of abnormal state Sino-U.S. talks in Beijing.
