Thailand must see no less than 15 days of grieving for King Bhumibol Adulyadej before his successor can rise the position of authority, Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha said on Tuesday.

"On the matter of progression, as per the constitution, natives in Thailand and abroad ought not be concerned or concerned," Prayuth told journalists after a bureau meeting.

"After no less than 15 days of grieving, it will be the proper time to institute segment 23 of the constitution," he included, alluding to conditions identifying with the progression.

Lord Bhumibol kicked the bucket last Thursday at 88 years old following seven decades on the position of authority.

The executive said a week ago that the royal celebration of Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn would happen after the incineration of his dad, which will take after a year of grieving. In any case, the ruler can get to be lord before his official crowning ordinance.
