The triumphant numbers - 8, 19, 20, 55, 73 with the Mega Ball 5 - were chosen at 11 p.m. EDT, were coordinated by one ticket, Mega Millions said on its site.
The Mega Millions amusement is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C. also, the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The chances of winning the big stake were one in about 259 million, as of Friday's drawing.
Offers of the $1 tickets support the weighty prize, which was worth $380 million on Friday evening if a victor picks a quick money payout rather than installments more than 30 years.
