Full EU market access for UK would require free labor movement: Irish finance minister

The United Kingdom is unrealistic to secure full access to the European Union's single business sector unless it permits unhindered access to its work market for EU residents, Ireland's Finance Minister said on Monday.

Master Brexit British government official Boris Johnson said on Sunday that Britain could secure full access without joining to free development components when it leaves the 28-country EU taking after a week ago's choice.

As the main EU nation with an area fringe with the United Kingdom, Ireland is prone to assume an imperative part in arrangements.

"From the point of reference it doesn't look as though that alternative is open, however I can see why he [Johnson] is stating it [because] despite the fact that the positions are conflicting, that is the thing that he crusaded on" Michael Noonan told writers at a gathering in Dublin.

"The point of reference in Norway was that when they accessed the full market, they needed to pay the duties that nations pay to the European Union and also that they needed to give free work market access," he said.
