One winning ticket sold in $429 million Powerball lottery
(Reuters) - One winning ticket coordinated the numbers drawn on Saturday night for the multi-state Powerball big stake for a payout assessed at $429.6 million, the ninth-most astounding U.S. lottery prize ever, authorities said.The triumphant numbers chose just before 11 p.m. EDT were 25 66 44 5 26 with the Powerball 9. Lottery authorities said one ticket, obtained in New Jersey, had the triumphant blend, as indicated by media reports.
The champ was not recognized. Champs of gigantic lottery payouts at times don't approach freely for months.It was the biggest bonanza for any U.S. lottery since January, when three Powerball tickets split a record $1.6 billion.

A spate generally ticket-purchasing on Saturday expanded the bonanza by some $15 million, to an expected $429.6 million. Powerball is played in 44 states, and in addition the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
